Universal Decorative ceiling fan (S.M.C. ceiling fan model DC52) from the late 1980s. Fan collectors have reasons to believe that model number to this fan is wrong and mislabeled. Model should be KB 36 (The Laguna series). Fan is dated April 1989. The motor on this one is quite different than the ceiling fan very identical to this one, and the one pictured on the box. This one's motor is much smaller and more flat. Unlike most ceiling fans, the white and blue wires on this fan are used to hook from power source and black is used for light kit. ceiling fan uses a ball bracket mounting system. Has a three speed pull chain, and a forward/reverse switch.
