TAT Deluxe ceiling fan model BDF 42 CB-BR from the mid to late 1980s. The fans pictured on the box clearly shows the older versions with ball and socket mounting versions and roundish switch housings. The fan pictured on the front of the box looks like This Ceiling Fan. The box says "Outlook Of The 80's". Blades had to be purchased separately from this ceiling fan. This is the dark brown 42 inch version. TAT gave each finish the same model number with two letters added at the end of the model number indicating the finish, which was only listed on the box. There was quite a few varieties of finishes. Features a three speed pull chain and a forward/reverse switch. Ball and Socket bracket mounting system is used to mount this ceiling fan.
