Here is the other significant fan I am looking for that I have not yet identified. I call it the "I-Fan" because of the shape of the vent holes, which look like the capital letter "I". One theory is that it is made by Progress lighting. It is an imported fan albeit with an American-style motor and flywheel, and is in a very unusual design. It may have had a remote control, or a pullchain, or in the model pictured here, a variable speed control. It is very heavy, the motor is cast iron surrounded by a brass plated steel housing. The blades are solid wood. If you have any of these fans for sale or trade (working or not), or know anything about it, please contact me mtneuman@mailbag.com
