S.M.C. ceiling fan model A52 - SA101, the antique brass model. This model is called "The Carolina" and is from the mid 1980s, approximately

1985 - 86.  Has a three speed pull chain and a forward/reverse switch. Two different ways to mount light kit onto switch housing cap. Many selective colors, A52 - SB101 being bright brass, A52 - SB102 being white and bright brass, and A52 - SB103 being dark brown and bright brass. S.M.C. was still using there bottom-square shaped blades at this time which were seen on there older Lagunas and the E52. A52 is the short model number for all these fans. Also a five blade version of this fan was available around the time. These fans came around in the early 1980s with a bell canopy and variable speed controls. Many forms of this fan was manufactured throughout the 1980s and 1990s. Neat fan!!
