Encon ceiling fan model AM-1 from the early-mid 1980s. Has a three speed pull chain and a forward/reverse switch. This is a six blade replica of the Hunter Original ceiling fan. Made in Taiwan for Encon Industries Inc. in the USA. There are two different type motors that were used in these. The early version with the same oil bath motor type that are used in 42" Hunter Original Ceiling fans and the version that uses a spinner motor. This particular fan has a spinner motor. The early version also mounted using a J-Hook. Uses the same bell canopy as a Hunter Original does and uses a ball and socket bracket mounting system. Neat and rare ceiling fan!!
