This was the prototype. This ceiling fan was sold with a five speed wall control. They were made by GE of Singapore, not the same GE of the USA. Was sold and distributed by Moss Manufacturing out of Miami Florida back in the late 1970s, these were originally an exclusive item for Linsdley Lumber Company of Miami FL. These were the first Moss Caribbean Breeze ceiling fans, before they were replaced with the second ones made from Taiwan. Unlike most ceiling fans which the blades mount on top or bottom of motor, the blades mount on the side. These fans were made very different from any ceiling fan.
